What we do

What TIK does.

TIK Construction handles emergency restoration for residential and commercial properties. The work falls into seven categories: water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, mold remediation, sewage cleanup, storm damage restoration, full reconstruction, and commercial restoration.

Most restoration companies handle the mitigation phase — water extraction, drying, demolition — and then hand the customer off to a separate general contractor for the rebuild. TIK doesn't. We handle every phase under one roof, from the first emergency call through the final coat of paint on the rebuilt wall.

Our crews are IICRC certified, the industry-standard certification for restoration work. We follow IICRC S500 standards for water damage drying, IICRC S520 for mold remediation, and IICRC S540 for trauma and biohazard cleanup. We carry full liability and workers' compensation insurance and are licensed contractors in both Washington and Oregon.

We work directly with all major insurance carriers. About 85% of the jobs we handle are insurance claims; the rest are private-pay for situations not covered by insurance. Either way, the work is the same — we just bill different parties.

Where we work

We serve Clark County, Washington — Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, La Center, Brush Prairie, Woodland — and the Portland metro area in Oregon, including Portland, Gresham, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Tualatin, Milwaukie, Oregon City, Happy Valley, and Wilsonville.

Our trucks are based in Vancouver WA, which is centrally located for the entire service area. We're typically on-site within 60 minutes of an emergency call, day or night.

Operational substance

Licensed, certified, insured, operational.

The credentials and capacity behind every TIK job.

  • IICRC Certified

Our technicians hold IICRC certification — the industry standard for restoration. Specific certifications include WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), and FSRT (Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician).

  • Licensed contractors

We're licensed general contractors in Washington (#TIKCOCI815RW) and Oregon (#229356). Both states require active licensure for restoration and reconstruction work.

  • Fully insured

We carry full liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance are available on request — adjusters and property managers ask, we send.

  • 24/7 operations

Real people answer our phone day and night, every day of the year. We dispatch crews around the clock, including holidays and weekends. No answering service. No callback queue.

  • Direct insurance billing

We work with all major carriers — State Farm, Allstate, USAA, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Travelers, American Family, Nationwide, Chubb, Progressive, and most regional carriers. Most claims are billed direct to the carrier so you only pay your deductible.

  • Equipment capacity

Truck-mounted vacuum extractors, 200+ pint-per-day industrial dehumidifiers, high-velocity air movers, HEPA air scrubbers, calibrated moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, containment systems. Enough capacity for residential or commercial jobs at any scale common in our market.

Who we serve

Who TIK serves.

TIK serves residential and commercial property owners across our service area. Most of our work is insurance-backed restoration for homeowners — about 85% of our jobs involve a homeowner's insurance claim. The remainder are private-pay residential work and commercial property restoration.

We work with property managers handling apartment buildings and commercial properties. We work with insurance adjusters who refer jobs to qualified contractors. We work with realtors and property inspectors who encounter damage during transactions.

Most of our residential customers are families dealing with unexpected emergencies — burst pipes, kitchen fires, basement flooding, mold discovered during renovations. We focus on serving customers who want a thorough, professional restoration handled by one company, not the cheapest possible cleanup with multiple contractors.

What makes TIK different

How we operate.

  1. 01

    We do the whole job

TIK handles every phase under one roof — water extraction, drying, mold remediation if needed, demolition, AND reconstruction. Most restoration companies stop after mitigation and hand you off to a separate general contractor. We don't. One company means one timeline, one billing relationship with insurance, and one point of accountability for the finished work.

  2. 02

We dry to standards, not to deadlines

Many restoration companies pull drying equipment when the schedule says it's time. We measure moisture content with calibrated meters and don't stop until materials meet IICRC S500 standards. This prevents the hidden mold and structural problems that come from incomplete drying.

  3. 03

    60-minute response, day or night

Many restoration companies promise 'fast response' and mean 4–6 hours. We mean 60 minutes from your call to a tech in your driveway, day or night. Our trucks are positioned across our service area so we're never far. We answer at 3am and dispatch immediately.

  4. 04

    We document for insurance

Insurance carriers approve claims based on documentation. We document damage with photos, moisture readings, equipment logs, and detailed scope estimates that meet carrier requirements. Most of our work is approved without dispute. When carriers push back, we have the documentation to support the work.
